The Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) is seeking part-time, casual locum pathologists to provide coverage for an unexpected vacancy in Neuropathology (adult and pediatric). These positions offer flexibility, with on-site work preferred but not required.

We are a subspecialized, multi-site academic hospital program serving Hamilton and the surrounding region—home to over two million people. Our program spans four acute care hospitals and one community hospital, operating under Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. The Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, one of our sites, is a regional referral centre for Central-West Ontario.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Neuropathology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent).
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Ontario.

HRLMP pathologists collaborate across institutions and communities to deliver high-quality diagnostic services and patient care. Join us in a dynamic and collegial environment that values excellence, innovation, and flexibility.

Compensation for this role will align with the Province of Ontario’s Laboratory Medicine Funding Framework Agreement (LMFFA).

Start date: As soon as possible
End date: Until permanent position filled

All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, in accordance with Canadian Immigration requirements, Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada will be given priority.
