Clinical Summary

A 62-year-old female with history of lung adenocarcinoma (stage Ia, clear margins, no lymph node involvement) had an episode of aphasia and left sided weakness (4 months prior to biopsy). Brain MRI showed 1.3 cm left superior temporal gyrus T2/FLAIR hyperintensity and leptomeningeal enhancement. Biopsy of the left temporal lesion is submitted for review.
