Clinical Summary
This 30-year-old female presented with headache and tonic-clonic seizures during the 21st week of her pregnancy. Her past medical history was otherwise unremarkable. This is her first pregnancy.
Her initial MRI at presentation showed a single left temporal lesion measuring 1.2×1.7 cm which had significant progression four months later to 1.9×2.6 x1.8 cm with worsening midline shift. Post-partem her CT chest/Abdo/pelvis showed a subpleural nodule in the right lung and nodular infiltrates with ground glass densities in the left lung.
She underwent neurosurgical resection for a dural based tumor arising from the left middle fossa skull base under the posterior temporal lobe.
