Clinical Summary

A 43-year-old female presented with a history of progressive headaches, dizziness, falls, and blurry vision over several months. Neuroimaging revealed a large right-sided dural based cystic and solid tumour with associated mass effect and vasogenic edema in the right occipital lobe.

The neurosurgeon achieved subtotal resection of the tumour. His OR note reads that the tumour had well defined borders in some areas; it was attached to the falx and the tentorium on the right side and numerous thrombosed vessels were seen.
